Each family is provided customized care, so the services may vary. Services may include the following: Provide overnight care, 24/7 care, travel with family in the states or abroad, parent education, lactation education and support, excellent overnight newborn care, baby laundry, stocking nursery, cleaning and sterilizing bottles, pump parts, preparing formula for the next day, keeping a detailed record of baby’s activities, gentle sleep coaching, implementing a custom daytime and nighttime routine,  teaching calming techniques,reviewing safe sleep practices and safe environments for baby, nursery set up and organization, and registry assistance.

Night nanny services are typically 8, 10 or 12 hour shifts, usually 3 to 5 nights per week, although the number of nights and hours are different for each family. Responsibilities include feeding or bringing the baby to the mom to be breastfed, calming the baby, helping the baby to settle into a good sleep pattern, logging the baby's sleep and wake activities and, as time allows, doing light tasks such as baby's laundry, cleaning and sterilizing breast pump parts and/or bottles. Sleep conditioning, answering questions and providing resources are also offered if needed or desired.

Providing care for the family by helping with an array of tasks that may include assisting with baby care, parent education, lactation support, light clean up, setting up and maintaining baby changing stations, cleaning bottle and breastfeeding supplies, preparing nourishing snacks for the mom, running errands, assisting with a feeding and postpartum plan, helping to manage visitors, teaching calming techniques, helping to identify postpartum depression, provide resources for situations that are “out of scope” as a postpartum doula. Shifts are typically 4 to 6 hours.

Generally speaking, a baby concierge service helps expecting and new families prepare for their new baby. This service typically includes things like creating a baby registry shopping for baby products, preparing and organizing a nursery, being a community resource and more!

Private, discrete childbirth and newborn care classes, breastfeeding classes, infant massage instruction, going green basics and, grandparent classes.
